Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy
Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) facilitates emotional processing and the creation of secure relationships with ourself and with others. EFIT offers a structured and individualized approach to help people address challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship problems. EFIT provides a roadmap to transform restricted emotional patterns and rewrite narratives created during traumatic experiences.
EFT is our primary modality. While working with individuals we sometimes incorporate other modalities of therapy.
Why we do this…
Twenty years into our marriage we reached a point where the strategies we’d relied on for years were no longer enough. Our relationship was in crisis.
We had been searching for a deeper way of connecting with ourselves, each other, and our children. We wanted to be fully present for the people we loved most, but despite our best efforts, lasting change seemed out of reach.
Everything changed when we discovered Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). With the guidance of compassionate and skilled EFT therapists, we rebuilt our relationship. We created a secure emotional bond, and learned how to be more emotionally present with each other and with our children.
That experience shaped both our lives and our work. It became the foundation of our mission:
The ones we love most deserve all of us.
We believe the people who matter most deserve more than leftovers after life’s demands. They deserve our presence, our responsiveness, and the security of knowing we are there for them.
We still have our moments, but we now know what secure connection feels like and how it can change a marriage and a family. It’s the same hope and healing we are passionate about helping others experience.
